Math Problem Set
You will working on reviews in math for the remainder of the year! Todays review is on addition and subtraction. If you don't print the lesson you will probably need to use scratch paper to solve. Remember to always download first and save as you go!

Writing/Social Studies
Greek God/Goddess Report (If you need more time for your writing)
You will writing a Greek Myth today that includes your god/goddess that you researched. You can include other Greek gods, heroes, or monsters if you'd like. Your story should include the features I've listed below and it may only take you today or it may take you both today and tomorrow. Use the time you need! You may type, handwrite, or even read and record your story and then submit it!

- They're set in the distant past
- Presented as facts that actually happened
- The plot is written as a journey or series of events
- include amazing and superpower filled events
- Very descriptive and rich vocabulary: "Hercules hurled his glittering spear with all the strength of a mighty army."
- They use similies and metaphors to explain
- Fast moving description
- Told by a narrator not a character, there's little dialogue.

Art for Greek Report!
Greek god/goddess art: I want you to make an artistic representation of your Greek god or goddess. You can be as creative as you like as long as it represents your god. I thought of some ideas below but if you think of something else, go for it! Send a picture to me so that I can see all of your art!
- Make a collage
- Make a model out of clay
- Paint a picture
- Do a charcoal drawing
- Draw a portrait
- Draw a portrait of yourself as the god/goddess
- Do a sidewalk chalk drawing

We are at an interesting point in time with a global pandemic. I think that it can be important to write about what you're spending your time doing and keeping a log of your time away from school. Write in your dismissal journal about what you're doing while not in school, and about your feelings. You will need to download the journal in order to save and submit your writing. I would like to make the journal optional this week if you need to spend more time writing.
